What we collect

Epublys processes EPUB files entirely in memory. We do not store, log, or retain any uploaded files. Files exist only for the duration of processing and are never written to disk or persistent storage.

No accounts (yet)

Epublys does not currently require user accounts. We do not collect email addresses, passwords, or personal information. When we introduce accounts in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

Server logs

Cloudflare Workers may log request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamps) as part of standard infrastructure operation. These logs are managed by Cloudflare under their privacy policy and are not accessible to us for individual user identification.

Cookies & Analytics

Epublys uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, where traffic comes from, and general usage patterns. GA4 may set cookies on your device (such as _ga and _ga_<container-id>) to distinguish unique visitors and sessions.

We do not use advertising cookies or retargeting. GA4 data is used solely for product improvement. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by using a browser with built-in tracker blocking.

Epublys does not set any first-party cookies beyond what GA4 requires.

Third-party services

• Cloudflare — hosting and CDN infrastructure
• Google Analytics 4 — anonymous usage analytics (see Cookies section above)
• Google Fonts — the Inter typeface is loaded from Google's servers

No other third-party services receive your data. Your uploaded files are never sent to any third party.

Data security

• All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption
• Files are processed in isolated V8 sandboxes (Cloudflare Workers)
• No file data is stored, cached, or logged
• Rate limiting protects against abuse

Your rights

Since we don't store personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you have concerns, contact us and we'll address them promptly.

Changes

We may update this policy as we add features. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
