Acceptance

By using Epublys ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What the Service does

Epublys provides free online tools for processing EPUB ebook files: merging, splitting, compressing, converting, editing metadata, and validating. All processing is performed in memory — no files are stored.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Epublys only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload files that contain malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Use the Service to process files you do not have the right to modify
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, security measures, or file size restrictions
• Use automated scripts or bots to make bulk requests
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose, including copyright infringement

Copyright

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to process any files you upload. Epublys does not monitor, review, or take responsibility for the content of uploaded files.

Free tier limits

• Maximum file size: 20MB per file
• Maximum files per merge: 10
• Rate limit: 15 requests per minute

These limits may change. Premium plans with higher limits will be available in the future.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that output files will be error-free, that the Service will be available at all times, or that processing results will meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Epublys and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss or corrupted files.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
